Tetcolor

Match colors. Clear rows. Build chain reactions.

Tetcolor is a free falling-block color puzzle that plays directly in your browser. Tetcolor Duo brings color matching and row clearing onto the same board, so every landing can set up more than one kind of clear.

The game starts immediately on this page. It is free, needs no account or download, and works with keyboard, mouse, or touch. Installation is optional.

Tetcolor Duo game board with independently colored blocks in falling shapes

Tetcolor Duo

The most varied family. Every block in a falling piece can have its own color. Match three colors in any straight direction, complete a horizontal row, or arrange both at once. After a clear, loose blocks fall and may start a chain reaction. Explore Tetcolor Duo's combined rules.

Tetcolor

Pure color matching. Place compact groups of colored blocks and connect three or more of one color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Cleared blocks let the rest of the board collapse into new matches. Learn the pure Tetcolor rules.

Columns

Drop vertical stacks of three colors and cycle their order before they settle. Build straight color matches in four directions and prepare the next match as the board collapses. See how Columns color cycling works.

Choose Arcade to play the same family rules on the Classic-sized board with colored bombs. A removed bomb can clear its neighbors, a row, a column, or every block of its color—and can trigger more bombs.

Choose your pace and pieces

Choose a steady challenge, a fixed pace, or an expanded piece set. Available styles depend on the game family.

Normal

The standard game. Falling speed increases as you keep playing.

Relax

Choose a fixed speed before starting. The pace stays there for the whole game.

Crazy

Play with the family's full collection of unusual shapes from the first piece.

Rules

  1. Move and rotate the falling piece before it settles.
  2. Clear blocks using the selected family's rule: color matches, complete rows, or both.
  3. Leave room for the next piece and use each collapse to prepare another clear.

Scoring

Larger clears are worth more, and color-clearing families reward cascades especially well. Keep a chain reaction alive by arranging the blocks that will fall after each match. Online leaderboards let you compare scores for the same game configuration. The guides explain each scoring system.
